Mercury has approved a number of Credit Card Readers for its clients to use as a means of verifying card payments from regular customers. Click here to download the specs on the devices.

The K21 Pin Pad is a Bank approved secured transaction entry device which can be connected to a PC and used to swipe credit cards through as a means of verify the inputted details. The transaction is then submitted to the Mercury Payment Portal for processing and validation. For more information on this contact us by clicking here.

The CardSmart Reader is a low cost 2 in 1 credit card and smart card reader which can be connected to a PC via USB, Bluetooth or IrDA. The device is used to validate inserted cards and send the details back to the Mercury Gateway for processing. The CardSmart Reader is capable of reading all three fields on the magnetic stripe and is capable of writing details to two of these. The CardSmart reader is also capable to detecting "skimmed" cards using the analogue signature of the card.
